Mother Tree Home
New Build
Explore this unique mountain get away!
Located above Boulder in a small meadow surrounded by 300+ year old ponderosa pines, this innovative home was designed by Barrett Studio Architects for a ceramics artist and human potential teacher, who infused the owners creativity into every nook and cranny. Working closely with the architect and homeowner, Cottonwood Custom Builders executed complex design details including geometric roof pitches, and innovative window placement to maximize passive solar and sweeping views.
No design detail was spared, including a custom chefs kitchen, ceramics studio, bodywork/meditation studio, swimming pool and indoor greenhouse. The bright, warm interiors palette of green building materials included bamboo cabinetry and built ins, cork flooring, beetlekill pine indoor and outdoor ceilings and handmade ceramic tiles and light fixtures made by the client.
