Sunset Remodel

Nestled atop Boulder’s foothills, this thoughtfully renovated home offers breathtaking views of the iconic Flatirons.

The homeowners, new to the area, sought to transform their space into a sanctuary that harmonizes with the surrounding landscape while embracing contemporary living.

Collaborating with Mosaic Architects + Interiors, the design team addressed the home’s original layout challenges. The entryway was reimagined into a grand foyer, setting a welcoming tone. A redesigned staircase now offers unobstructed sightlines, drawing the eye toward the expansive views and beyond.

To enhance the living experience, the sunken living room was elevated, creating a seamless flow with the rest of the main floor. A new fireplace and refined finishes added warmth and sophistication to the space.

The home office was transformed into a versatile area that maximizes natural light and panoramic views, catering to both work and relaxation.

Throughout the remodel, the focus remained on integrating modern design elements with the home’s natural surroundings, resulting in a space that is both functional and inspiring.
